Carmody is the Chief Marketing Officer, and co-founder of Seismicom,
a highly successful promotional marketing firm. As CMO, Bill Carmody
works with top clients such as AOL, AT&T Wireless, Boeing, Citibank,
ConocoPhillips, Dole, Microsoft, Pfizer, Samsung and Visa, providing
strategic direction and building award-winning campaigns that deliver
measurable results.
As part of the Promotion Marketing Association (PMA), Bill Carmody is
a Board Member and Chairman of the San Francisco chapter. He is an active
member of the National Sports Marketing Network. He is the author of
Online Promotions, the only book ever written about the subject and
is a contributing writer for both PROMO Magazine and Event Marketer.
Before launching Seismicom, Bill Carmody was the VP of Integrated Media
at Marden-Kane, a 45-year old promotional marketing firm. There, he
developed new promotional products for clients and integrated traditional
offline promotions with online. He has also worked for the advertising
agency Ogilvy & Mather and online marketing firm Modem Media.
