Bill & Violet Share About Planning Our World Tour

When Violet and I decided to travel the world together, people thought we were nuts. Perhaps we are, but that never stopped us from dreaming big and choosing how we both want to show up in the world.

But planning out a full year of travel is a big deal for anyone. And it got me thinking that some people may be very interested in how we did it. So between now and July 2025, I’m going to share some of the incredible resources we’ve found, hurdles we’ve had to overcome and key decisions that have helped shape our travel plans.

Along the way, I encourage you to share your tricks, tips and suggestions with me. Neither Violet nor I feel we have all the answers — quite the opposite. We both know that the only way this trip happens is with the help of our friends, family members and trusted colleagues all around the world (i.e. YOU!)

Here’s the first one that was a GAME CHANGER for us: https://www.travellerspoint.com/ — this is the site that allowed my travel agent, Kerrie Gordon and I to collaborate on which locations we wanted to visit, when and see it all visually on a map. We love it so much that we shared it on our homepage including when and where we’ll be throughout our global travels.

I will also share that Kerri Gordon has been a Godsend to this trip. Having a professional travel agent has allowed me to relax and focus on the things that are most important on this trip — where do we want to go and when.
